Bota Bota threw a soirée to officially open the Old Port spa's sister restaurant last night. Operated by Auberge sur la Route, the caterer arm of L'Auberge Saint-Gabriel, the restaurant's menu was
curated devised by Éric Gonzalez.
While the French chef includes some subtle nods to delicate spa fare, the menu is far from rabbit food. To wit, there is rabbit on the menu, in the form of rillette, and other indulgent, decidedly non-health resort items like a ham and butter tartine, duck parmentier and "Linzer style pecan pie, caramel crémeux, sweet and salted pecan, lemon cream" for dessert.
A selection of wines from Sélection Caviste, all private imports, is also on offer.
