PLATEAU— Bakery Hof Kelsten has a new wholesale customer. Moishes put in orders for Jeffrey Finkelstein's rye carraway bread this week. [Twitter]

OLD MONTREAL— The Old Montreal branch of artisanal doughnut purveyor Léché will close for a few months for renos. [Facebook]

DOWNTOWN— After a long hiatus, swanky steakhouse La Queue de Cheval will mark a return to the Downtown scene in late January 2014. Management will host a job fair next week to meet prospective new employees. [Facebook]

SHUTTER— Tasso, a restaurant once front of mind with some the best critics in Montreal, had a mellow last service this past November 18. The meze bar's current phone message ends on a hopeful note, however: "We hope to see you soon." ADDENDUM: Lesley Chesterman tweets that Tasso will re-open in 2014 on rue McGill. [-EM-]
