Pizzeria Geppetto is set to open a second location in Tomato's old digs on Beaubien, corner d'Iberville. The new locale will look to improve on the former tenant's low Urbanspoon grades and presumably will sport a similar - if not the same - menu as the original Geppetto on Notre-Dame's restaurant row in Little Burgundy: wood oven pizzas, a host of entrées (crostini, bruschetta, calmari), salads and pastas.
Geppetto's owners include serial restaurateur Francis Dumais of the Pizzadelic and Sushi Shop franchises, Barraca tapas bar, Limon, and more. Manager Geneviève Guertin, a constant presence at the original Geppetto, and formerly of Joe Beef, will oversee the new restaurant's transition.
