When: August 31, September 1, 2, 7, 8
Where: Lac Memphrémagog, Magog-Orford
What: With the legitimacy of Quebec viticulture on the rise, the Fête des vendanges Magog-Orford comes at an opportune time. The event celebrates not only wine and ciders but a variety of agricultural products from the Eastern Townships. Over 140 producers are expected this year.

When: September 1-7
Where: 30 Montreal-area restaurants
What: Burger Week returns to the city with a cheeseburger theme at a record 30 restaurants. Notable participants include Blackstrap BBQ, Depanneur le Pick Up, Les Enfants Terribles and Tapeo.

When: August 30 - September 2
Where: Fort Chambly, Chambly
What: Chambly, the home of Unibroue brewery, hosts a weekend festival that celebrates Nouvelle-France culture and Quebec terroir. Held at the Fort Chambly national historic site.

oysterfest2013.jpg4) Oysterfest
When: September 8, 1:00 pm
Where: Terrasses Bonsecours Island, Old Montreal
What: Montreal's only oyster festival is back for a 5th installment with food from Garde Manger, Gaspar, Grinder, L'Orignal, Taverne Monkland and more, shucking and Bloody Caesar competitions, and, of course, a veritable deluge of oysters. All proceeds go to promote sustainable aquatic life.
