Food Trucks to City: Prolong Season SVP

Photo: Cuisine de Rue

Montreal's experimental and tightly-regulated inaugural food truck season has been deemed a success, on the whole. Regardless, the Association des restaurateurs de rue du Québec has some proposals to improve the pilot project. Gaëlle Cerf, in her capacity as Vice President of the association and manager of Grumman '78, will meet with the city to suggest improvements. The two most significant recommendations: prolong the food truck season well past summer and as long as November; and review the current list of designated food truck zones and hours of operation.
