Faita Back In the Kitchen; Les Gémeaux and More

FOOD TV— CBC announced that the new season of Stefano Faita's (Impasto, Quincaillerie Dante) show, In the Kitchen, will begin on September 23. [CBC]

FOOD TV— Les Prix Gémeaux, honouring excellence in French Canadian television, took place last night and featured a brigade of chefs and food celebrities. Patrice Demers, Marie-Josée Beaudoin, Daniel Vézina, Danny St-Pierre, and Ricardo Larrivée, natch, were all in attendance at the big gala. [Twitter]

FOOD TV— Danny St-Pierre's new Radio-Canada show, Qu'est-ce qu'on mange pour souper?, in which the Sherbrooke chef prepares a dinner with home cooks Mondays to Thursdays and a food "personality" on Fridays, elicited an amusing column from television critic Richard Therrien. [La Presse]

FOOD TV— Preservation Society's Camilla Wynne hasn't done much press to promote her new French recipe book, Les conserves selon Camilla, but did wind up on the set of V's breakfast show Ça commence bien! last week. [V]

FOOD TV— Chuck Hughes stopped by Le Creuset's flagship Canadian store at the West Mall in Etobicoke, Ontario over the weekend to sign copies of his Chuck's Day Off cookbook and meet fans of his Food Network shows and, presumably, his two restaurants in Old Montreal, Garde-Manger and Le Bremner.
