Don't Eat That Cheese

le-canotier-cheese.jpgIf you're a food truck or gastropub in Montreal, it's borderline cliché to use Île-aux-Grues cheddar in your grilled cheeses and rarebits. So this isn't good news: The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume Le Canotier de l'Isle cheese because the product may be contaminated with Listeria. The manufacturer, Société coopérative agricole de l'Île-aux-Grues, is voluntarily recalling the affected product from the marketplace. [CFIA]
