Man Unironically Takes Maple Syrup Pizza to Rome

Marco Lizotte, the chef owner of Rock 'n' Roll Pizzeria in Trois-Rivières and, apparently, the biggest Elvis Presley fan between Montreal and Quebec City, is off to Rome next week to compete in something called the Pizza World Cup.

The first Québécois to participate in the event hopes to wow the judges with a belle province spin on the classic. To wit, Lizotte's dessert pizza will be topped with pastry cream, whipped cream, raspberry sauce and a drenching of maple syrup.
