Fresh off his Toqué! departure and À table avec l'ennemi television gig, Charles-Antoine Crête has himself a new project on the Main.
Ève Dumas reports in La Presse that the chef will help put together a kitchen brigade and menu for Richard Holder and Olivier Farley (Bar Waverly) at a long-derelict diner (see above) at 4105 boul. Saint-Laurent.
Other principals include designer Jean-Pierre Viau (Brasserie T!, Laurie Raphaël, Segafredo, Jun i) and graphic designer Thomas Csano. The locale's owner is listed in city records as Ruccolo + Faubert Architects.
All a preamble, of course, before Crête himself helms a new restaurant of his own. Details to come.
