MasterChef Ontario to Debut With One Contestant From Quebec, Out of 50

If you find competitive food television hard to stomach, this may barely register on your rage-meter. And yet, it behooves us to indicate that MasterChef Canada is about to debut next Monday, January 20, with 33 of 50 home cook contestants from Ontario. Only one is from Quebec: Evan Ouaknine, a "Transportation Sales & Development" employee from Montreal.

Oh and judges Michael Bonacini, Alvin Leung and Claudio Aprile? Toronto.

Look, we get it. Toronto is the big media market, the cash cow, ad dollars central. But seriously CTV?
