In a week that saw Globe debut new chef de cuisine J-P Miron, the restaurant's ex-chef, Jean-François Baril, has news of his own.
Baril and partners David Chano, Alfie Mangione and Guy Ahmanarian will open Anabel on the corner of Bernard and du Parc, shortly. This comes, ostensibly, after some delays (the wine bar's Facebook page was set up on October 31).
The partners come from the likes of Brama, Le Merchant Royal and Santos and the new restaurant takes over the old Dispensa space. First service will be on Tuesday, February 4.
