Reviews for Le Chien Fumant, Brasserie Bernard

The Holder brothers finally get a proper review for new spot Brasserie Bernard in Outremont. Some off-notes aside, Marie-Claude Lortie prefers to focus on the positive and is sympathetic to the fact that the restaurant is relatively new: "Un décor de qualité, une cuisine de qualité.

CultMTL editor-in-chief Lorraine Carpenter is effusive over Mile End newcomer Barcola, despite the restaurant's Nespresso® machine: "Java aside, Barcola knows what it's doing in the kitchen and as a business, a remarkable achievement for a two-month-old restaurant. And with so many restaurants on major arteries closing, it's just what Parc Avenue needs." [CultMTL]
