Once bereft in non-nigiri, Montreal now has a surplus of Japanese bars. Throw another on the yakitori and noodle pile because a new izakaya is set to open in central Downtown.
Biirū will give the condo and cubicle crowd a ramen remedy as of February 8. And, from the looks of his Instagram feed, DJ Yo-C is a partner in the venture. Yo-C is the tour DJ for Sugar Sammy and a resident DJ at Buonanotte, Santos and UP club. Another partner, Yann Levy, is the founder of something called Playmyfood.
A rough look at the interior.
