Almost five months after Cavalli was hit with a firebomb, the Montreal arson squad has released surveillance video of two men they allege were the perpetrators. The subsequent damage to the supper club was significant and almost sunk plans to re-open in time for Grand Prix weekend. When the incident took place, the infamous Downtown restaurant was fresh off a 100 day alcohol permit suspension for a range of violations. Management then built a comeback narrative on social media around the F1 race. No arrests have been made in the incident.
