Michel Ross and Zach Suhl, the duo that gave Montreal the beloved and bygone Brunoise, are back.
After a long hiatus the two will celebrate the inaugural dinner service at Wilfrid sur Laurier later today. The restaurant in the former La Petite Ardoise in Mile End (Foursquare has yet to update with the new name, see below) has undergone a complete style and substance makeover and is officially open all week, save for Sunday.
As he prepares to cook for customers for the first time since the shutter of his elegant, market-driven Mas Cuisine in Verdun, Ross reports both excitement and nerves.
"A bit of both I guess. A lot of getting used to the new work surroundings. It's a lot of logistics in the beginning but yesterday's private service was a good start. We broke the ice, and we can only improve from there. It's great to be working with Zach again. The team is a great mix of 'old and new,' which makes for a great vibe."
