Henri Saint-Henri to Spruce Up Notre-Dame West

Photo: Facebook

As winter wraps up, Henri Saint-Henri, a new restaurant from the braintrust behind the likes of Quai No. 4, Barraca, BAR INC, Ils en Fument du Bon, Helm, Le Quai Roulant Food Truck, Monsieur Smith and Huis Clos, will doll up a strip of Notre-Dame still in flux.

Montreal.tv reports that the cuisine will have hints of les Îles-de-la-Madeleine all the way down to the Dirty South. So ... oysters?

The new spot's address - 3734 Notre-Dame Ouest - places it somewhere in between Café Saint-Henri and Bar Oh Caresses, which, presumably, will offer some stiff competition.

Oh and this tidbit: the owners of the property are Danny Lavy and Stephen (Au Bon Marché) Shiller, two of the most powerful landlords in Montreal, with assets on Notre-Dame Ouest that include Liverpool House, Burgundy Lion and the Corona Theatre.
