Martin Juneau made it to the final round on episode nine of Chopped Canada yesterday but was ultimately done in by some underdone ris de veau. The Pastaga chef owner got no favours from fellow Montrealer Chuck Hughes, a judge on the episode, who called one of Juneau's dishes "very soggy and chewy."
Juneau was a gentleman in defeat, however, calling the experience "frustrating but part of the game."
Toronto's Trevor Ritchie (chef-de-cuisine at La Société) took home the $10,000 prize. Charles Khabouth's publicist army is on the case.
