Welcome to our photo series Eater Scenes, where Eater photographer Randall Brodeur visits some of the city's great restaurants to capture them at a certain, and very specific, point in the day. Today, Bottega.
For many, Bottega is the pizzeria that took a defibrillator to Montreal's pizza scene just under a decade ago. And in Little Italy, at that. Fabrizio Covone and his Vesuvian rock oven do justice to Neapolitan heritage in 90 seconds flat and while pizza is far from the only item on the Saint-Zotique restaurant's menu, it is definitely why the people come. And boy, do they ever. Just look at the place for a typical Friday service.
