With sommelière Marie-Josée Beaudoin as his business partner, it was apparent that pastry chef Patrice Demers had plans beyond financiers and kouign-amanns at Patrice Pâtissier. And so the relatively new Little Burgundy pastry shop and lunch spot debuts a wine bar menu this Friday.
The menu (French only, for now) is divided in three - savoury, cheese, sweet - with notables like sunchoke pancakes with mushrooms and goat's cheese, a lamb tart with caramelised onions and mustard and a pear sorbet with pralines, maple financier and more of those sunchokes.
Patrice Pâtissier's wine bar menu is on offer as of this Friday, and every subsequent Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
