John Winter Russell to Open Restaurant

Ex-Van Horne chef John Winter Russell was in prep mode with Gaspésie Sauvage yesterday in advance of Terroir 2014 in Toronto in May. Amid all the lichen and sweet clover cakes, this:

Winter Russell did confirm the news today but made sure to stress that the venture is in preliminary stages. A superb development nonetheless, to be sure.
