Montreal mayor Denis Coderre had such a fine time at Montréal en Lumière's Nuit Blanche this past weekend that he now wants to launch a pilot project to allow some bars to stay open and serve alcohol until 6:00 a.m. But not, of course, before the usual executive committee consults, debates, feasibility surveys and so on.
Still, this genie is out of the bottle, so to speak. And so, we ask:
