Junichi Ikematsu (Juni, Saka-Ba!) and Nick Hodge (Icehouse) will unite at Juni on April 27.
The Good, the Bad and the Unagi vs. The Seven Course Samurai will feature a seven course menu for $75, with a $50 alcohol supplement. The prix fixe, with services at 6:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., will presumably mesh the high-low styles of the two restaurants; though as fans of Hodge well remember from his Kitchenette days, the chef can apply a deft touch when the mood calls for it. Moreover, Ikematsu has recently let his hair down at new Plateau ramen spot, Saka-Ba!.
