Former Au Pied de Cochon chef Hugue Dufour has been all over the news of late, with his M. Wells restaurants perpetual fodder for the New York food media maelstrom.
La belle province, however, and not the Big Apple, will get the first taste of a documentary on the manic and stressful soup to nuts development of the cult-like M. Wells Steakhouse in Long Island City (a restaurant Mario Batali gave props to yesterday).
The Guillaume Sylvestre film debuts this Sunday, April 27, at 9:00 p.m. on Canal D. Sylvestre's credits include Durs à Cuire, the 2008 documentary on Martin Picard, Normand Laprise, Charles-Antoine Crête and Dufour.
