A dive bar on Sherbrooke was the victim of a firebomb attempt at 4:20 a.m., The Gazette reports today.
Witnesses told Montreal police they saw a suspicious man driving off in a vehicle about 4:20 a.m. from a bar near the corner of Sherbrooke St. W. and Claremont Ave.The fire broke out in the back of the bar, Montreal police spokesperson Denis Richer said.
A source tells Eater Montreal that the bar is Liquid Lounge and that police have cordoned off the block. No arrests have been made.
