Le Billot is now open on Duluth and Rivard. The restaurant "vous propose un tour du monde savoureux, local et saisonnier."
Chef and owner Rodney Pimentel tells Eater Montreal that the pub, despite reports to the contrary, is not part of the Saint-Hyacinthe microbrewery Bilboquet, though Bilboquet suds do figure on the menu.
Pimentel adds that his food will go beyond "nachos and chicken wings" and that he has "worked very hard to develop and serve an international inspired menu with local produce (far from what Bilboquet offers at their restaurant [in Saint-Hyacinthe])!"
Le Billot is open Tuesday to Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. For now, have a look at the inside and terrasse.
