Andy Su won a fiercely loyal customer base with his piquant plates at Szechuan on Guy below Sherbrooke. Now the chef has taken his skills to Monkland Village.
From the looks of it, Gia Ba serves much of the same addictive, spicy fare fans of his former locale came to champion. Good news for those who jones for the likes of this and this.
Gia Ba is open Tuesday to Sunday. As for the name, Su says: "It's Taiwanese. It means after a good meal you are happy and full."
