Change is afoot on Mont-Royal across from Parc Jeanne-Mance as Souvenirs d'Indochine shutters and reboots as Hà.
Nic Urli, a principal in the new restaurant "pique-nique, traiteur", comes to the venture by way of Velvet and Flyjin.
"The energy there is just amazing. It's based on a Bia hơi concept [a draft beer popular in Vietnam] but with a Montreal twist and a Nic Urli soul. My partner Francisco Randez and I are very excited about this project."
Randez, familiar to some for his work on the TVA show Sucré Salé, tells a blog this week that "on va créer un buzz autour de ça, quelque chose de très urbain, de très 'local' et de très collectif."
