Consider one half of the Laurier BBQ reboot done. Lorbeer, the brewpub part of the significant restaurant overhaul from principals Jeff Stinco, Éric Lefrançois, Cindy Simard and co., is now open Monday to Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
The chef is Émile Balk, whose résumé includes Globe, Houston and the ITHQ. The menu leans brasserie-style, with beers from Stinco and Lefrancois' West Shefford brewery on hand. Laurea, the second half of the Laurier BBQ makeover and a vehicle for chef Hakim Chajar, will open shortly.
