With a party pre-ouverture in the can, Pierre et Pierre is now open on Saint-Denis. The new bar slash restaurant sports a tidy food menu and terrasse. Inside "refurbished old stone and modern design come together to create a warm and friendly atmosphere."
Princiapls include ITHQ alum and chef Julie Zyromski, general manager Olivier Gagné, Olivier Duclos, Kim Lewis, Phil Henderson, Kevin Miro and Tyler Fairfield.
As for the double Peters, they refer to Pierre de Saint-Sacrement, a "corrupt priest" cum bootlegger who was active a century ago, and that erstwhile haven for rumrunners, the islands of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon.
Pierre et Pierre is open Monday to Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
