Blackstrap BBQ Set to Expand to Saint-Henri

Brace for a new Blackstrap BBQ.

In advance of a Five Days of Meat chat with Eater Montreal and a weekend competition in Lake Placid, New York, premier pit boss Dylan Kier tells us that a second Blackstrap BBQ is in the works in Saint-Henri.

More Blackstrap BBQ to love is just about the best news for scores of regulars who make the trek to Verdun to get a fix of Kier's championship-caliber brisket, chicken, pork, ribs and turkey. Saint-Henri seems like the appropriate neighbourhood too.

"New Project!," tweeted Clara Barron, Kier's partner in life and business, earlier today.

ADDENDUM: Kier adds this bit of crucial info. The new restaurant will not be another Blackstrap BBQ per se but a "sister concept." Intriguing.
