The latest Restaurant Outlook Survey by Restaurants Canada alleges that food, labour and credit card costs are the top challenges for restaurant operators. The survey comes on the heels of the trade association's vociferous - and sometimes inaccurate - campaign against changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker program and a request to seek an emergency audience with Prime Minister Stephen Harper to "to address a labour shortage that has reached crisis levels in some regions of the country."
