Lea

Lea, the new restaurant from the Hachoir and Grinder group at 4922 Sherbrooke Ouest, is open as of October 20 for lunch and dinner, Monday to Saturday. In the kitchen: executive chef Matt Doyle and sous chef Ian Milner. Bonus for Westmount: free valet service. Here's Lea's website description, with menus below:

Picture Lea as this tall, striking blonde that can be spotted at the end of the bar. She entices you with her elegance and provocative aura. Whether it is wise to approach her is not clear. However, her gracious ways make it nearly impossible to resist her. Disregarding certain rules of the neighborhood, she goes out on a limb in order to draw you in to her bold and candid world. In an endeavor to restore the area's gastronomic reputation, Lea embodies chef Matt Doyle’s culinary flair in a modern setting. Le Hachoir and Le Grinder's little sister boasts a decor designed by Zébulon Perron that is unique yet cozy. The different textures, veneers, glass and steel intertwine with the authenticity of the dishes.
