Foodlab co-chefs Michelle Marek and Seth Gabrielse—never shy to welcome outside talent to the open SAT kitchen on Saint-Laurent—will host New York chef and butcher Paul Wetzel (Gramercy Tavern, Marlow & Daughters) and pastry chef Natasha Pickowicz (Foragers City Table) for a special event at the end of January.

Pickowicz, a native of California and former pastry chef at Dépanneur Le Pick Up and Lawrence (and, moreoever, a contributor to the likes of the Gazette, Montreal Mirror and Serious Eats) left the city in 2013 to work at Andrew Tarlow's Marlow & Sons in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Pickowicz and Wetzel, known for his work at Gramercy Tavern, as well as Tarlow's artisanal butcher shop Marlow & Daughters, will collaborate with Marek and Gabrielse to create an à la carte menu built on a foundation of "local products and simple and precise cuisine."

It all happens as of 5 p.m. on Monday, January 26. More info on how to reserve here.
