A smash and grab job at a Laval restaurant saw crooks make off with an automatic teller machine at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Monday. The incident, recorded by surveillance cameras, took place at a branch of fast casual chain Barbies at 580 boulevard Saint-Martin Ouest. The bold bandits used their vehicle as a battering ram to gain access to the restaurant, loaded the cash machine into their car, and promptly fled the scene. Police have not disclosed how much money was stolen, and no arrests have been made.
