Boswell, the new wave Plateau brewpub with Cicerone servers and zero tolerance for televised sports, is now open. ICYMI, the "Brasserie Artisanale" from Nicolas Paquet, brewer Philippe St-Cyr, and Olivier Rhême, will focus on Quebec-made beers (20 on tap, with some made in-house), and pub grub (see menus below). Look, too, for ciders, Scotch whiskys, tequilas, aged rums, and wine. Boswell's chef, Alexandre Fréchette, worked previously at Les Éclusiers par Apollo.
Status: Boswell Brasserie Artisanale, 2407 Mont-Royal Est, (438) 386-4661, now open daily.
