Montreal Hits Peak Pizza as Pizzeria Orsini Fires Up in Place Viau and Griffintown

Montreal's pizza scene just got even more congested. This time it's Orsini, in Saint-Léonard's Place Viau retail development (a part of the city that may actually benefit from a new wave Neapolitan-style spot). But wait, that's not all. Orsini also has a second pizzeria in the works for Griffintown.

It's no secret that we're living in heady pizza times in Montreal. The past few months alone have given us the likes of Adamo, Pizzeria Caldo, Farine, Pizzeria Melrose, and Watts. New pizzerias are also in the works from Outremont's No 900, and Westmount's Bacaro Urban Pizzeria.
