Hôtel Herman fans take note: the restaurant will host two events on Tuesday, December 22, and Tuesday, December 29 with special guest chefs. Next week chef Marc-Alexandre Mercier will welcome Mehdi Brunet-Benkritly, formerly of Au Pied de Cochon, and back in the city after stints at New York's Bar Sardine and Fedora, into his Mile End kitchen to collaborate on a $60 prix fixe menu (with a $40 supplement for liquid pairings). Call Hôtel Herman at (514) 278-7000 to reserve your spot—this event is likely to book up fast.

Marché Sous Chef, the reboot of Antonio Park's Park Market, is now open for business in new Westmount digs at 370 Victoria. Manager Pier-Luc Dallaire, long a fixture at Joe Beef and Liverpool House, recently told Eater that the store's focus will be on prepared meals for takeout, and local, chef-driven products, such as these baguettes from La Bête à Pain. ICYMI, the original Park Market is about to get a pastry shop makeover.

— Hot on the heels of this Shaughnessy Village ramen announcement comes word that Schlouppe Bistrot Nakamichi will soft open a week from today, on December 22. Let the downtown Montreal ramen wars begin.

Chez Tousignant, the Little Italy casse-croûte from Impasto/Pizzeria GEMA, is now open, officially, after a considerable soft launch. The restaurant will be closed for the holidays, however, from December 21 to January 4.

Bar Henrietta, the Portuguese tavern remake of Baldwin Barmacie in Mile End, opens tomorrow.

Rémy Couture, the man behind the Plateau's popular Crémy Pâtisserie, has a new online video recipe project, entitled Saint Crème.
