A vital communiqué for street food lovers from Montreal city hall today: "As of today, we can confirm that the boroughs of Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie, Verdun and Ville-Marie will host food trucks as of May 1. Other districts may join over time; they will have the authority to add sites and determine periods of occupation," declared mayor Denis Coderre. Spots will include public parks and other public spaces. A more specific announcement will be made at the end of March with that in mind. For now, read the full statement from the city here.
