April Bloomfield Would Maybe Love to Open a Restaurant in Montreal

A chef who writes a cookbook like A Girl and Her Pig will never want for fellowship in la belle province. Indeed, April Bloomfield has natural chef soulmates in Montreal in the likes of Derek Dammann, Martin Picard and Joe Beef's Dave McMillan and Fred Morin. But will the New York-based Michelin star chef behind Yeezus' hangout and The Breslin open a restaurant in the city?

"I'd love to open a restaurant in London one day and maybe one in Montreal," Bloomfield admits to enRoute. Of course, with a new cookbook on the way and potential plans to purchase a farm, a Montreal restaurant may not happen for quite some time. But feel free to hope (see Robuchon).
