Théâtre de la Petite-Italie

Brace for a new independent cinema with adjacent bistro in 2016, Little Italy. That, La Presse reports, is the ambitious plan for the old Casa Napoli. Partners in the $4 million project include a who's who of sorts: Michel Quintal (Piknic Électronik), Mitch Davis (Fantasia), Marc-André Grondin (actor), Jarrett Mann (SPASM/CISM), Gabrielle Tougas-Fréchette (Voyelles Films), Izabel Grondin (director), Benoit Dénommé (Banque Nationale) and Anthoni Jodoin, a co-owner of Nacho Libre and all-bacon bar Brutus.

The new venture lives on Facebook here.
