Once on the brink, it looks as if Le Petit Medley has secured a buyer in Plaza St-Hubert. The Saint-Eustache-based Brasseurs Illimités will soon take over and, indeed, has already installed its products on site. La Presse reports that the brewery's René Huard orchestrated the sale. Jamil Azzaoui, Le Petit Medley's original owner, has taken pains to ensure that the transition to new management is smooth. Brasseurs Illimités has no major plans to revamp the place and will apparently not exclude competitors from the bar's tap lines. Moreover, the bar will retain the same name — for the most part anyway. Look for 'Petit Medley Simple Malt' soon.
