Le Gros Jambon, the Old Montreal casse-croûte once featured on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, is about to get a new look and a new name: L'Orignal Canteen and Catering. Principal Travis Champion, also a partner in L'Orignal, the diner's sister restaurant, spoke today about the pivot: "[The renovations will end] in mid-May. The brunch will stay relatively the same, just more consistent. Lunches and dinners will be more L'Orignal style, with sandwiches, tourtières, shepherd's pies, etc." Bonus: the new restaurant will sport a terrasse out front.

ICYMI, L'Orignal recently made some changes as well.
