Update: a Redditor has taken credit for the Chipotle-to-Montreal hoax. Chris Arnold, the Communications Director for Chipotle, offered this statement today: "We don’t speak to plans for individual locations or markets beyond what we have under lease and where construction is scheduled. At this time, we don’t have anything in Montreal that meets those criteria."
