Houston Avenue Bar & Grill has made it official: Joe Mercuri is the fast casual concept's executive chef. In his role, the chef of the largely-extolled Mercuri, which the Laval-based Houston group also owns, will consult on and devise menu items for franchises. With big growth plans for Industria Brasserie as well, 2015 promises to be a busy year for the company. At present, Houston Avenue Bar & Grill has seven outlets in Gatineau, Laval, Montreal, the South Shore and Quebec City.
