Two years ago Uniburger replaced the beloved La Paryse in the Latin Quarter and won over ardent burger skeptics. To mark the auspicious occasion, the likes of Emma Cardarelli (Nora Gray), Fabrizio Covone (Bottega Pizzeria), Derek Dammann (Maison Publique), Stephen Leslie (Tavern on the Square, Monkland Tavern, Le Sieur d'Iberville), Colin Perry (Dinette Triple Crown), Lionel Piraux (ex-Toqué!, private chef) and Danny Smiles (Le Bremner) will pull grill duty next week to celebrate the popular burger slinger's second anniversary.
Uniburger's owner Younes Bengeloune writes: "Each day during Uniburger Week [March 8–15], one of these culinary masterminds will offer their own unique interpretation of the classic Uniburger. We'll be importing never-before-seen ingredients into our menu, and we'll be donating the day's burger proceeds to the charity of the chef's choice. We are so incredibly thankful for all the love and support Montreal has given the Uniburger family over the past two years. We hope you can come celebrate with us, and delight in the gustatory madness that our friends are helping us prepare for you."
