Brasserie Lucilles, the new restaurant at 4124 Ste-Catherine Ouest from Lucille's Oyster Dive, opened over the weekend. Now we have our first look at the menu (sans prices), cannily designed with Westmount's fussy diners in mind. It's a starter-heavy affair, with no less than fifteen apps, from your wedge salad to your crispy calamari with malt vinegar aioli. There are four pastas, six seafood dishes and five meats (veal, ribs, lamb, hand-ground burgers). A few things stand out, notably the outfit's telltale raw bar and rotisserie offerings like a daily Portuguese-style chicken and market-priced whole fish on weekends. There's also a full prime rib roast dinner available in 16-ounce and 12-ounce portions. Check it out.
