Is a New Green Panther Slated for the Latin Quarter?

La Panthère Verte has new expansion plans, apparently. This time it looks as if the successful Montreal vegan chain has the Latin Quarter in mind. Entreprises Panthère Verte Inc. recently put in a request for a permit with the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for 1735, rue Saint-Denis — the ex-home of Baravin, which closed amid a swirl of controversy in late January. Green Panther currently operates outlets in Mile End, the Plateau and Downtown Montreal.
