Set those alarms for 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, because that's when highly-anticipated San Gennaro will open to the public. Located in Little Italy, the caffè and pizza al taglio concept is from the same proprietors as Bottega Pizzeria.
Co-owner Massimo Covone told Eater that San Gennaro will "mostly be a daytime café but will be open until 9 p.m." The new spot will have a "top of the line Faema espresso machine, will serve Neapolitan viennoiseries like bomboloni, fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juices and homemade gelato. For lunch, pizza al taglio, salads, maybe arancini."
The cafe opens at 69 Saint-Zotique Est at 7 a.m. until 9 p.m., seven days a week.
