The plan was for L'Gros Luxe to open its third Montreal location in the old Limon space on Notre-Dame Ouest at the end of May, followed by the first suburban location on the South Shore. As it turns out, Le Vieux-Longueuil will be getting poutine grilled cheese before Sud-Ouest does.
MTL Blog was at the official opening party on Tuesday night, but the restaurant at 217 St-Charles Ouest is now open to the general public, starting at 5 p.m. Weekend brunch will run on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meanwhile, according to its Facebook, the upcoming Sud-Ouest location will not open in late May as originally announced, but instead in June. When it opens, it'll boast two patios and 100 seats.
