Fans of David Pellizzari have not had a taste of the chef's food since late December. Mercifully that all changes this week as Lili Co., one of the most heralded new restaurants of the past two years, marks a return in new Mile End digs. Pellizzari (formerly of Réservoir, Buvette chez Simone), partner Catherine Draws (also late of Buvette chez Simone), and company have been hard at work these last four months to remake the old French Connection BYOW on the corner of Saint-Laurent and Villeneuve. The move effectively doubles Lili Co.'s capacity — the restaurant's former space on Bienville and Mentana sat 28. Expanded hours are part of the reset as well.
Status: Lili Co., 4675 Saint-Laurent, corner Villeneuve. Dinner Tuesday to Sunday, 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.; lunch Wednesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; brunch Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Certified open.
